1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by BVA Teknik ve Enerji Anonim Şirketi (“BVA Solar” or the “Company”) in its capacity as data controller.

2. Personal data processed

Depending on how you interact with the website, the following personal data may be processed:

• Identity and contact details: first name, last name, phone number and email address.
• Request and project details: property type, average monthly electricity bill, roof or project information, and any notes you provide.
• Communication records: email correspondence, requests and feedback.
• Transaction security data: IP address, access date and time, device, browser and technical logs.

3. Purposes of processing personal data

Your personal data may be processed to respond to information and quotation requests, conduct the free preliminary assessment, plan suitable products and services, communicate with you, manage customer relations, maintain website security, resolve requests and complaints, and fulfil legal obligations.

4. Collection methods and legal grounds

Your personal data is collected electronically through website form fields, email, phone and technical records generated when you access the website.

The information you enter in the quotation form is transmitted electronically and directly to the Company when you submit the form so that your quotation request can be assessed.

Personal data is processed where this is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, necessary for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation, necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, or necessary for the Company's legitimate interests provided that your fundamental rights are not harmed. Where an activity requires explicit consent, your consent will be obtained separately.

5. Transfer of personal data

Limited to the purposes stated above, your personal data may be shared with authorised Company employees; suppliers providing hosting, IT, email and technical support services; and authorised public institutions or judicial authorities where required by law. Transfers are carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

6. Retention period

Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing and for the statutory retention periods prescribed by applicable legislation. At the end of these periods, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights under the Law

Under Article 11 of the Law, you may apply to the Company to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• Request information if your personal data has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
• Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
• Request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in the Law,
• Request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
• Object to an outcome against you arising exclusively from automated analysis,
• Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

8. Applications to the data controller

You may submit requests concerning your rights to the Company using one of the methods prescribed by applicable legislation, together with information that verifies your identity and an explanation of your request. Written applications may be sent to the address above. Applications made from an email address that you previously provided to the Company and that is registered in our systems may be sent to info@bvaturkey.com.

Your application will be concluded as soon as possible and no later than thirty days, depending on the nature of the request.
